During the month of September, Nintendo released a trailer for two new game accessories that are for Nintendo's latest best selling product, the Nintendo Switch. The media was confused on what these accessories could possibly be for, and if they're for another fitness game like the Wii Fit. One week later, Nintendo released another trailer, which described what this equipment was being used for, and Nintendo's newest fitness game; Ring Fit Adventure.
In this blog session, I'm going to talk about how Nintendo's latest product will add on to the marketing value to the company; why this product will catch the consumers attention; and how successful this product could be when compared to Nintendo's other marketing products. For more information about Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure, there will be a link at the end of the blog that redirects to the official website.
Since Ring Fit Adventure hasn't been released yet, Nintendo is bound to make more money once this product is released on October 18th of this year, the reason why is because there are bound to be people who are looking for a new way to lose weight. so, Nintendo decided to make this game have a bundle that includes two new products that comes along with the game, one being a leg strap that holds one of the Nintendo Switch's motion-sensored controllers, and the other being the main accessory that holds the other motion-sensored controller in order to play the game. For the whole bundle, Nintendo is selling it for $79.99, which I can see a good amount of people willing to buy something that helps them exercise while having fun.
Nintendo has always found ways to catch their customers attention; the majority of the products being videogames that are favored world-wide, and the consoles that are made for playing the videogames, but when customers buy specific games that require an accessory that comes along with the game, the buyers are probably willing to spend a little more money in order to play the game the way the company wants them to. Since Ring Fit Adventure is going to become Nintendo's latest fitness game for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo probably had to think of an idea to make Ring Fit Adventure and it's accessories a whole lot more different from becoming the Wii Fit, which had only one accessory, which was a Balance Board that wasn't very fun to carry around, which probably make Nintendo think about making accessories that are both lightweight, and easier to carry around while playing the game.
The reason why I think the Ring Fit Adventure will probably be Nintendo's next successful product when compared to Nintendo's other marketing products is that the game not only encourages customers who are into adventure games, but the game will probably spark interest in buyers who want to find a new exercise routine for a better way to get into shape. Whereas, the majority of the other best-selling Nintendo Switch games don't really require the player to stand up or interact by moving around. Some games like Just Dance, or 1 - 2 Switch do have that kind of capability, but apparently Just Dance is owned by Ubisoft, and 1 - 2 Switch really isn't Nintendo's best selling video game.
Ring Fit Adventure's Value Proposition for Nintendo is probably the game's bundle, which will probably persuade customers to buy it anyway since the bundle includes the game, a leg strap, and the main accessory also known as the ring-con. Since the Nintendo Switch is one of Nintendo's best selling consoles, I can already tell that a lot of Nintendo Switch buyers who do care about their health will buy Ring Fit Adventure, not just as a new way to exercise, but to have fun while playing the game as well. If Nintendo had a reason why they are a popular, that reason would probably be because Nintendo knows how to make their products fun for their customers.
There really isn't anything that is challenging for Nintendo lately, mainly because of the success of the Nintendo Switch, but since Microsoft, and Sony are still competing in sales for their consoles, Nintendo is probably doing very well since the latest console is also a handheld, where the X-Box One and the PS4 are still consoles, which really can't compete against Nintendo's best-selling product.
Ring Fit Adventure's marketing approach are mainly commercials and social media trying to inform the customers about the product since the game hasn't come out yet, but there is also the main website that informs customers about the product and where the game's bundle can be preordered from.
If I were the Marketing Manager for Nintendo or Ring Fit Adventure, I would try posting the product on social media once every week to remind customers about products that are selling, or products that will come later in the year.
When I saw the second commercial, the marketing approach was very convincing since the product encourages the consumers to have a reason to buy a product meant to exercise and have fun.
What I learned from this assignment is that if someone is working for a company that makes a lot of money when selling products, they do their best to advertise their product in several different approaches, mainly to introduce what product they want to sell, what the product's purpose is meant for, and when customers should expect that product to release.

You talked a lot about the product, but I don't know where the Marketing Challenge is. You didn't mention the Value Proposition. Since you didn't specifically mention the marketing challenge, I don't know what your opinion of the marketing manager's decision, nor what you would have done differently. I can't grade this how it is, please rewrite.
