Photo Story: Essential Workers in Albany, Oregon

Throughout the Corona Virus Pandemic, many stores and restaurants have made restrictions for their associates, as well as their customers. Recently, three months have passed since the beginning of the Corona Virus Pandemic, many stores and restaurants have started to open up to the public once again, and many of these public places have starting updating their restrictions towards the public.

BJ's Ice Cream Parlor

When the Baskin Robbin's was closed down on 2705 Santiam Hwy SE, In Albany, OR, the new Ice Cream Parlor known as BJ's Ice Cream Parlor had taken over the location so that the citizens of Albany still can go get ice cream at one of the few places that serve ice cream in Albany. During the beginning of the Corona Virus Pandemic, BJ's Ice Cream Parlor had to shut down for a little over a month, but as soon as many other places opened up back to the public, BJ's Ice Cream Parlor was one of those few places that opened back up. Just like many other stores and restaurants, the restrictions are that the associates have to wear face mask and wear venial gloves in order to serve ice cream to the customers, and for the customer's restrictions, the store hours have changed to 11am to 9pm on Sundays through Thursdays, 11am to 9:30pm on Fridays, and 11am to 10pm on Saturdays, and Customers must follow the 6-foot rule in order to promote social distancing.

N'Reener's NY Style Sandwiches

N'Reener's is one of the few Food Carts found in Albany, Oregon that serves many options of New York Style Sandwiches. The Food Cart usually stands around 2840 Santiam Hwy SE, but on some days the food cart stands next to Brannek Motor Sports, Ace Buyers, and one of the Dutch Bros found in Albany. When the Corona Virus Pandemic started in the month of March, the associates who work at N'Reener's have to wear venial gloves to serve food to the customers, and the customers have to stand at the waiting line to order their food, as well as maintaining a 6-foot distance from other customers who come to N'Reener's for lunch or dinner. The rules for associates and the customers have stayed the same ever since the start of  the Corona Virus Pandemic, so there isn't a lot of changes for rule regulations for this food cart service.

James McGuire, 28 is one of the food preps who works at N'Reener's. James does his best to stay healthy during the Pandemic, and he does his best to clean around the food cart, as well as serving many food options to the customers who come around for lunch or dinner.

The media was confused on what these accessories could possibly be for, and if they're for another fitness game like the Wii Fit. One week later, Nintendo released another trailer, which described what this equipment was being used for, and Nintendo's newest fitness game; Ring Fit Adventure.   In this blog session, I'm going to talk about how Nintendo's latest product will add on to the marketing value to the company; why this product will catch the consumers attention; and how successful this product could be when compared to Nintendo's other marketing products. For more information about Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure, there will be a link at the end of the blog that r
