My Goals for JN 134

My name is Nathan Crane, I am a fourth year student at LBCC, and I am also majoring in the Bachelor's Degree program in Videogame Design. My story starts off when I lived in Montana for 15 years, there I have lived with my family, and went to school there until I finished Middle school. After Montana, I moved over to Arizona to get away from all of the snow from Montana. I lived in Arizona for 3 years, at the time, I was living with my mom, and I was going through High School. My last stop was when I moved to Oregon, I lived here close to 6 years, first I went to and graduated from South Albany High School, then I lived in Salem, which is where I went to ITT-Tech for a little while before it shut down, now, I have been going to LBCC for almost 4 years.

I am taking this Journalism class for one out of the last three classes I have left until I can transfer my college credits over to a University. I chose this Photo Journalism class because I have a little bit of experience of taking photos in a Photography class, and I am also currently taking another writing class, so I kind of see this as an easy opportunity to help my photography experiences improve. Since I have been accepted into U of O for Fall term this year, I hope that these last three classes that I am taking will help me achieve my goals for getting into a bigger college, which is just one step closer to helping me achieve my dream of becoming a Videogame Designer.

One of my main goals for this Photo Journalism class is to help me improve my photography skills as well as my writing skills, so whenever I take a picture of something, I would also be able to tell a story to express what the meaning of the photo is towards the specific audience. My second goal for this class is to make sure I am able to ace this class with ease, so I will do my best and work hard to achieve this goal so that I am able to improve on one of my artistic skills. My last goal for this coarse is to make sure I understand the main ideas for assignments, mainly because this is my first time having to take courses online, so I am more used to learning from in-person classes, rather than over a computer screen. In order to achieve this goal, I am going to do my best to pay attention to all of the details of an assignment, and do my best to have my assignments done correctly.

Nintendo's Newest Exercise Gear to Replace the Wii Fit.

Photo Credit: https://www.vooks.net/nintendos-new-switch -experience-a-new-adventure-game-called-ring-fit-adventure/ During the month of September, Nintendo released a trailer for two new game accessories that are for Nintendo's latest best selling product, the Nintendo Switch. The media was confused on what these accessories could possibly be for, and if they're for another fitness game like the Wii Fit. One week later, Nintendo released another trailer, which described what this equipment was being used for, and Nintendo's newest fitness game; Ring Fit Adventure.   In this blog session, I'm going to talk about how Nintendo's latest product will add on to the marketing value to the company; why this product will catch the consumers attention; and how successful this product could be when compared to Nintendo's other marketing products. For more information about Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure, there will be a link at the end of the blog that r

Greg’s photos are shot with a 85mm lens, rather than using a telephoto, mainly because the 85mm lens allows Greg to take compression-free photos, along with the maximum depth of field. Humans of LBCC: Nathan Crane

My Name is Nathan Crane, I'm a 23 year-old Art Major at LBCC, I'm looking forward to becoming a Videogame Design Major when I transfer to the University of Oregon, and I have been going to LBCC for four years now. Most of my life experiences haven't been too harsh on me for most of my life, It all started off when I was born in Montana, I was diagnosed with an Autism spectrum known as Asperger's Syndrome, so I usually had a hard time learning my studies later on when I was old enough to go to school. My parents were divorced three times, the first time was before I was born, and my older sister wanted them to get back together again, the second time was around when I was in grade school, and I was the one who wanted them to get back together, and the last time my parents were divorced, I was in middle school, and my sister and I finally understood why our parents couldn't get along with each other. After I was done with Middle School, me and my mom decided to l
